Robert Driver-Bishop joined us with over 30 years of experience, primarily as lead pastor of larger churches experiencing growth and renewal. He has a specialized doctorate in church consulting with emphasis on congregational transformation. He has a real heart for helping churches and their leaders.
Bob served as a national church director of internal communications and was responsible for coordinating mission and ministry with middle judicatories, affiliated ministries, congregations, and pastors across the country. He has helped coordinate comprehensive stewardship campaigns for the national church, synods, social service agencies, and congregational appeals. He has written numerous devotional books and is co-author of “Meta-Moments” enabling congregational renewal.
Before becoming a pastor, Bob served as a high level intelligence analyst in the United States Air Force. He has degrees from Eastern Illinois University, Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and McCormick Seminary. He brings extensive ecumenical experience and expertise.
